BETTER BRITTLE began with our original West African style peanut brittle. Made by hand in three pound batches from simple, natural ingredients it resembles the brittle you remember from childhood only without all the tooth-breaking, rock hard corn syrup. Better Brittle is inspired by a confection popular across West Africa.  It is known as “nkati cake” in Ghana where we first learned the recipe and traditional technique.  We now offer West African style coconut brittle as well and have partnered with Lune Chocolat in Manlius, NY to bring you both of our brittles in 60% dark chocolate.
